SynShield® OTR Plus 10W-30 Engine Oil is a premium advanced performance, fully synthetic, heavy-duty diesel engine oil formulated to provide maximum protection against wear, oxidation, deposit formation, soot contamination and aeration.

SynShield® OTR Plus 10W-30 Full Synthetic Engine Oil provides excellent fuel economy while maintaining engine durability and longevity. Using our proprietary friction modifiers, Micron Moly® and Penetro®, SynShield® OTR Plus 10W-30 Engine Oil creates a slippery, tenacious shield that prevents metal-to-metal contact for increased engine efficiency.

Our fully synthetic 10W-30 oil is suitable for use in 2007 and 2010 emission compliant engines that utilize heavy exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and exhaust after-treatment devices such as diesel particulate filters (DPFs) with or without diesel oxidation catalysts (DOCs) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR). SynShield® OTR Plus 10W-30 Full Synthetic Oil can also be used in low-emission certified diesel engines that are equipped with EGR, older non-EGR containing diesel engines, and off-highway diesel engines.

Schaeffer’s 9012 SynShield OTR Plus Full Synthetic SAE 10W-30 CK-4 (6-Gallons) is a full synthetic, premium quality, heavy-duty diesel engine oil. It is specially formulated to extend engine life. It also provides for extended drain capability and improved fuel economy benefits. Many of the newer engine builders are calling for a 10W-30 engine oil.

SynShield 0TR Plus™ SAE 10W-30 contains two proven frictional modifiers, Micron Moly®, a liquid soluble type of Moly and Schaeffer’s own proprietary additive Penetro. SynShield OTR Plus™ is blended from a unique combination of select synthetic base stocks with a balanced proprietary heavy-duty diesel additive technology and a highly shear stable viscosity index improver.

SynShield OTR Plus™ 10W-30 exceeds the current requirements for API CK-4. It is particularly suited for use in 2007 and 2010 emission compliant engines. Also Tier 4 non-road engines that utilize heavy EGR and exhaust after-treatment devices such as diesel particulate filters (DPFs).  SynShield OTR Plus™ SAE 10W-30 can also be used in low-emission certified diesel engines that are equipped with EGR and older non-EGR diesel engines. Suitable for off-highway diesel engines that are powered by either high, low or ultra low sulfur diesel fuels. It can also be used in high performance gasoline engines and mixed fleet applications.
